The Calling (2004) was the second play in the ‘Myth’ project. It was written by Jess Avis and adapted ancient  legends of the Dartmoor area to modern settings and moods. The action throughout the play is haunted by Dartmoor’s rivers which are at once beautiful and treacherous.
